Bloom Bar at Market Blooms

At Market Blooms, I’ve always been way more into experiences than just… things.

With my old business, The Charcuterie Cart Columbus, I started adding build-your-own bouquet moments into our events, and I fell in love with it. People would come up, pick their own flowers, and just start creating — no rules, no pressure, just fun.

And honestly, watching that happen was one of my favorite parts of the whole thing.

So when we took over Market Blooms, it was a no-brainer — we had to bring that same energy into the shop.

That’s how the Bloom Bar started.

It’s super simple. You come in, we’ve got a curated selection of fresh flowers, and you just start picking what you’re drawn to. Color, texture, smell — whatever catches your eye. If you want help, we’re there, but we really want it to feel like your thing.

And what I love most is people always surprise themselves.

Someone will say “I’m not good at this” and then leave with something gorgeous. Someone else will normally play it safe and suddenly they’re grabbing the boldest colors in the shop. It just brings something out of people.

That’s the whole point.

It’s not about making a perfect bouquet — it’s about making something that feels like you made it.

We switch things up with the seasons too, so it never feels the same twice. It keeps it fun for us and for everyone who comes in.

And when you leave, you’re not just taking flowers home — you’re taking home something you actually created. A little moment for yourself in the middle of a busy day.

That’s really what we’re trying to do here. Not just sell flowers, but give people a reason to slow down and play a little.

A small bouquet, made by you.
